	If you are like most serious musicians, making music is as important to you as studying music. You would be hard pressed to find many schools of music that offer the sheer variety,	Frost School Chorale
	depth, and breadth of ensembles as the University of Miami Frost School of Music. Simply put, performing ensembles are an integral part of curricular activity at the Frost School. You can choose from more than 50 ensembles, offering you a host of performance opportunities. Several of the School’s ensembles are invited regularly to perform each year at national and international conferences. Some of these performances have included:

		The Frost School Symphony Orchestra and the Frost School Chorale at the Music Educators National Conference National Convention;

		The Frost School Wind Ensemble at the College Band Directors National Association Convention;

		The award-winning Frost School Concert Jazz Band, Jazz Vocal Ensemble I, and the ECM Ensemble at the International Association of Jazz Educators Convention;

		The Frost School Chorale at the American Choral Directors National Convention.

	In addition, the Symphony Orchestra, the Chorale, and the Wind Ensemble have all released CDs which include world premieres. The Concert Jazz Band has recorded four CDs and Jazz Vocal Ensemble I recently released its first CD. Although ensemble offerings vary from year to year, here is a representative sampling:
